Our policies, part1
Whilst peoples voice is neither left nor right we do hold a set of principles many of which are self-evident.
We are a non-racist, non-sectarian party opposed to discrimination on grounds of disability, gender and sexual orientation.
We are in favour of a fully funded National Health Service and opposed to the privatisation and fragmentation of health care.
We are in favour of decent State Schools and opposed, with certain exceptions, to Private Education.
We are in favour of a minimum wage of £7.50 an hour, with proper education and training for employees.
We are in favour of what the British people voted for a Community of Europe and opposed to the European Union & The Lisbon Treaty. We would keep the British Pound.
We want legislation that affects English People to be debated and voted on only by English Members of Parliament. We are fully supportive of the other nations of the United Kingdom to determine what is in their national interests.
We would give every young person a decent start in life, help him or her when they need to buy a house, seek further education, or wish to open a business.
